Here is a list of projects I have completed since I recently began using the WordPress publishing platform exclusively to design and power my website projects.
Simple Method
I co-founded this new WordPress training and support company this year. I designed the website, run the blog and basically do everything! We are in the “beta test” stage right now, where we will be giving away some free memberships to test out our system. I will also be giving free 60 day access to Simple Method to all of my new clients.
Northern Computer
I really enjoyed working with the Northern team on this website. They are making great use of the WordPress publishing platform, with an advanced and large page structure, as well as running an active blog. Also, the home page on this theme is very handy for making regular updates and make announcements.
Artemis LED
Artemis is an LED lighting company based out of Texas. They hired me to create a website for them where they could showcase their product series. Using WordPress I was able to set up an efficient page structure, and create a consistent look for all the products.
Beautiful Mind Photography Blog
A friend of mine name David Emond (who happens to be a gifted photographer) approached me, seeking some help moving his blog from a WordPress.com account to a self hosted WordPress.org website. He also wanted to re-theme his site. Together we found the right theme, and I did some very minimal customization. Now he’s back at work snapping winning photos, and regularly posting them to his new and improved blog.
The Little House Company
“TLHC” is a very talented home staging and renovation company, and I enjoyed creating an attractive and easy to use website for them. It’s full of amazing “before and after” photography of their various projects. This clean, almost minimalist theme seemed perfect for the message they were trying to convey, and allows the images to speak for themselves. I was able to do two more website projects for this client as well (see “Oscars Cottage” below).
Red Mill Creative
I designed the current website for this website and graphic design company that I partner with. The old RMC website was “under construction” for some time, and needed a quick fresh look for this season. Look for a new design there soon.
Healthwise Family Practice
It was my pleasure to create a simple and effective website for Drs Bennie and Lize Wiese, MDs of Healthy Family Practice. They wanted to keep it uncluttered and simple, and I think we succeeded. They’re happy that they can make fast and easy updates on their home page themselves, without needing to call me!
Advanced Therapeutic Counselling
ATC was a unique challenge, in that I was “re-imagining” an existing (non-WordPress) website design. We had a specific goal of improving the SEO. The result is a powerful and unique website with improved search engine visibility, and the ability to be easily updated!
Oscars Cottage
This is the second project from the same client whom I did The Little House Company website for (see above). “Oscars Cottage” is a bed and breakfast in the Sunshine Coast area of BC. They wanted something smart and simple where visitors could find what they were looking for quickly and easily. Unfortunately the third website project I did for this client is currently offline as they do some renovations to their B & B this season!
